W'Salaam El-Semmi :)

batch script for large changes kinda a killer especially the two servers are
very far, one hosted at kuwait on 256k dsl and the other at my datacenter in
the US, thats why i thought of someway of inserting SQL queries for changed
entries only not the entire db.

Salam Bashar,

I'm sure you have thought about it, but why isn't a batch script good for
that?

Salaam All,

what is the best way to sync mysql databases by inserting new/changed data
into remote mysql box?

mysql replication would do it but it needs little changes on the live server
which i dont want to.

was wondering if a way to insert new lines into the remote db every x amount
of minutes or so instead of doing an entire dump and restoring it remotely

any thoughts are much appreciated :)

Best Regards,
